It may be hard for the majority of people to put together a beach vacation meal – because we don’t usually know how much food we will need. Thus, we usually end up with less or more than we need. To make the balance, we do the math first. Let’s say you’re going for a 7 days vacation. Technically, including breakfast, the meal plan should be a 21 meal plan. Is it this simple? Of course not. By preparing 21 meals, you will end up with too much food. Undoubtedly, there will be some times when you only grab a pizza or snacks for lunch or you choose to have ice cream and skip dinner. You never know!
My own trick for avoiding having too much extra food is to focus on preparing dinners that give me usable leftovers that I can use to make lunch the next day.
For me, a big part of vacationing is snacks. It is true that the majority of vacationing destinations have places that you can get snacks from, but I prefer to make my own snacks. I always make sure that snacks are included in my meal plan.

Vacation Dinners Meal Plan
Grilled Veggies, Potatoes and Steak
A great meal is really something that you want to start your vacation with. One of the easy and delicious meals that you can make is steak. It is fairly easy and quick to just throw on the grill and wait for the magic to happen.
For potatoes, you better opt for the new tiny ones. Toss them with some salt, garlic powder, pepper and olive oil and pop them on the grill. Other veggies that you can add to steaks are onions and peppers. You treat them the same way as the potatoes and put them on the grill.
Chicken Legs with Veggies
Chicken legs are one of the easiest meals to prepare at home or at vacation camp. When planning dinners, make sure that you include them in the list.
In my house, chicken legs are one of the hits in food – except my husband who doesn’t like to eat meat off of bones. What I do as a solution to help him share chicken legs with us is cut his off bone.
Fries Loaded Hot Dogs and Burgers
We usually make this meal twice in the vacation. Fries are your best addition that your burgers and hot dogs can have. Unless you are in diet, you can load your burgers and hot dogs with fries.
Vacation Lunches Meal Plans
From the leftovers of the steaks you grilled the last night, you can make a delicious tacos for lunch. For some extra, you can serve your tacos with a cowboy rice salad and enjoy a unique and healthy meal.
Hot Ham and Swiss Croissants
For an indulgent and comforting lunch, hot hams and Swiss croissants seem like a good deal. In normal days, I wouldn’t have this meal for lunch, but there is nothing better than indulging during a vacation. Believe me! Sandwiches on croissants are lovely, like a lot.
I bet that you have never had Naan bread pizza. Making this Caprese pizza on Naan bread is really fancy. The funny thing about is that kids don’t know the difference. They will think that is just a regular cheese pizza.
Generally, we are not morning people. Breakfast is not an important meal for us. Though, there are a plenty of recipes for vacation breakfast. You can go for Cheesy Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole. With Hearty egg, sausage casseroles, and hash brown, you can make a delicious breakfast. Not only do they feed a crowd , but they also taste just as good as they look – perfect for those people who can sleep in on vacation.
